Judge Heather Van Nuys (Ret.)
served 22 years on the trial bench. Her service included over 16 years on the Superior Court.
Heather Van Nuys is a trained mediator.
She is a Federal Civil Rule 39.1 mediator for the Federal Court of the Western District of Washington.
She received her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law.
Her practice focuses on estate planning,
wills, trusts, and mediation. She is a proud member of the WSBA Alternate Dispute Resolution Section, and presently
serves as the Vice-chair of the KCBA Alternate Disputee Resolution Section.
She brings her experience, training, and insight to the table to help people settle their
wills, trusts, and estates disputes in mediation.
